The Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction, and promoting loyalty to the company. This role involves proactive communication with past customers, social media engagement, and collaboration with our sales team to protect and grow our customer base.

What will you be doing in this position?

  • Customer Retention Tasks
  • Conduct follow-ups with customers at key intervals (e.g., 1-year and 2-year marks) to maintain relationships and reinforce loyalty.
  • Send personalized messages, including Happy Birthday and holiday greetings.
  • Manage requests for Google reviews and assist customers in completing them.
  • Notify customers about lease renewals, trade-in opportunities, and maintenance reminders.
  • Educate customers about the benefits of using MotorBreeze for future vehicle needs versus working directly with dealerships.

  • Social Media Engagement
  • Create and schedule social media posts to enhance brand visibility and engage with followers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries or comments on social media platforms.
  • Develop campaigns to promote loyalty programs and customer success stories.

  • Collaboration and Administration
  • Work closely with the sales team to facilitate smooth handoffs, including introductions via WhatsApp groups.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Generate and analyze reports on customer feedback, retention metrics, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).

What do we need from you?

  • Proven experience in customer service, retention, or account management (automotive industry experience preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a personable and professional tone.
  • Proficiency in managing social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems for tracking customer interactions and managing workflows.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

What a typical workweek will look like…

  • Morning: Review customer follow-up schedules, respond to messages, and plan social media posts.
  • Midday: Conduct customer outreach calls or emails for retention milestones.
  • Afternoon: Collaborate with the sales team on new customer introductions and handle administrative updates in the CRM.
  • Evening: Finalize social media content and ensure all tasks for the day are logged in relevant systems.
  • Monday-Friday, 20 hours per week, with some flexibility for occasional weekend engagement for social media or customer outreach campaigns.
