Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper with expertise in using QuickBooks to join our remote team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, and ensuring the integrity of financial data. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be proficient in using QuickBooks software.

Responsibilities:

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions in QuickBooks, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
  • Prepare and process invoices, bills, and expense reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Process payroll and maintain employee records.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with auditors during financial audits.
  • Provide support to management by generating financial analysis reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, ora related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
  • Proficiency in using QuickBooks software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
