We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in bookkeeping principles and will closely adhere to the company's accounting methodology. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our clients' businesses remain profitable by providing exceptional bookkeeping services.

What will you be doing in this position?
- Implement specialized accounting systems into the client's existing bookkeeping procedures.
- Set up and manage the client's chart of accounts.
- Oversee and execute accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Conduct deep dives into pricing and optimize for profitability as per our proprietary system.
- Understand and account for the subtleties of the home improvement industry that impact profitability.
- Calculate and properly account for lending fees, sales commissions on undersold jobs, and other relevant financial aspects.
- Maintain and analyze profit and loss statements, ensuring they align with the company's guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with clients and the internal team to resolve financial queries.
What do we need from you?
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho, FreshBooks, etc.)
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
