As a Practice Operations Assistant, you will be an integral part of our operations, providing remote support in multiple areas, particularly in front desk operations and surgical coordination. This role involves a high degree of interaction with patients and requires excellent interpersonal skills, a detailed understanding of medical terminologies, and strong proficiency in standard healthcare administrative processes. The ideal candidate should have a solutions-oriented mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting

What will you be doing in this position?

  • Handle inbound calls from patients and prospective patients in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to patient inquiries.
  • Coordinate surgical logistics, including case verification, authorizations, and medical clearances.
  • Send voice and text messages to patients who do not pick up.
  • Complete doctors' notes in the Freed AI app.
  • Schedule appointments and add patient demographics for Medicare patients.
  • Check email for incoming messages and voicemails and respond or escalate as needed.
  • Complete empty fields in patient records to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation

What do we need from you?

  • Experience in healthcare administration, preferably in a private practice setting.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) software, appointment scheduling software, and Freed AI app is beneficial.
  • Effective management of inbound and outbound patient calls.
  • Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have strong telephone etiquette and patient service skills
