Role Overview:

As the Recruitment Specialist for Annotation Services, you will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier annotation specialists. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and making hiring decisions. Your expertise in talent acquisition and understanding of the annotation services niche will contribute to the growth and success of our data annotation operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Sourcing:

  • Employ various sourcing techniques, including online job boards, social media platforms, professional networking sites, and industry-specific forums, to attract qualified candidates for annotation specialist positions.
  • Develop and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive outreach, attending industry events, and building relationships with relevant educational institutions.

Screening and Selection:

  • Review resumes and applications, evaluating candidates' qualifications, skills, and experience against the required criteria.
  • Conduct pre-screening interviews, either in person or remotely, to assess candidates' suitability for annotation specialist roles, ensuring they meet the necessary qualifications and possess the desired attributes.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and team leads to align on candidate profiles and make informed hiring decisions.

Interview Coordination:

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with shortlisted candidates, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the process.
  • Conduct and/or facilitate interviews, either in person or remotely, using a structured and consistent approach to assess candidates' technical abilities, sports knowledge, and compatibility with the team.

Candidate Evaluation and Selection:

  • Evaluate candidate performance and interview feedback, considering factors such as sports expertise, attention to detail, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and team leads to select the most suitable annotation specialists, ensuring alignment with project requirements and team dynamics.

Onboarding and Engagement:

  • Collaborate with HR and team leads to facilitate smooth onboarding and integration of new annotation specialists into the team.
  • Foster engagement and retention through effective communication, providing necessary information, addressing concerns, and supporting professional growth opportunities.

Recruitment Strategy and Branding:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies and tactics to attract top talent within the annotation services niche.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of recruitment processes and best practices, staying informed about industry trends and innovative sourcing techniques.
  • Promote and uphold the company's employer brand, ensuring a positive reputation and attracting qualified candidates.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on niche recruitment within the data annotation or sports analysis industry.
  • Familiarity with the requirements, skills, and attributes desired in annotation specialists, such as sports knowledge, attention to detail, and ability to work with AI software.
